Wildlife Gardening Workshop: Low Input Gardening and Wildlife Ponds
Join us for a half-day workshop with organic gardening expert Robert Longstaff, exploring Low Input Gardening and the role of ponds in your garden’s ecosystem. The talk will focus on gardening in harmony with nature, offering tips on how to be “almost organic,” reuse materials, reduce costs, and garden with sustainability in mind. The session will include a Q&A followed by a tea and biscuit break. Afterward, SCEEC Learning Manager Charlotte Howe will guide you in a hands-on pond exploration, using nets to discover and identify pond life, and learn about the health of your pond and its vital role in a wildlife-friendly garden. Hot drinks and biscuits provided.
