Completed in 2011, Westmill is unique with both wind and solar community-owned electricity generation on one site. In fact, the solar park was the first community-owned of its kind in the UK. Here is your chance to come and see how it all works! Join us on-site at Westmill to discover renewable energy and the positive impact it has on our climate. Hear the eventful history of the Westmill, before learning about the installation and energy generation of our five wind turbines and over twenty-thousand solar panels.
