Watlington Concert Band – A British Celebration

Watlington Concert Band are a friendly concert band who enjoy performing music regularly throughout Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, and occasionally further afield.
Join us for a British Celebration on Saturday 25 April, with guest soloist Aidan Marsden – Percussionist. As a soloist, Aidan is particularly keen to expand the repertoire for the glockenspiel. June 2019 saw the curation of a recital of new works for glockenspiel and voice alongside mezzo-soprano Rosie Middleton as part of that year’s Culture Mile Festival in Central London, which led to the creation of the Twinkling In The Firmament
concert series in January 2020. Aidan most recently continued this series as part of 2025’s St Endellion Festival.
