Join us in celebrating VE Day 80 and honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Second World War generation, in defence of the freedoms we still enjoy to this day.
11am – Wreath-laying ceremony, Thame War Memorial Gardens
6.30pm – Church bells ring out, St Mary’s Church
6.30pm – Sing-a-long at sunset, Southern Rd Recreation Ground. Bring a chair, your picnic rug, a torch and flag, and enjoy an evening of song with local artists and the Air and Army Cadets
9.30pm – Lighting of the Beacon, Southern Rd Recreation Ground
