Taste of Thame is a popular annual event that takes place in the centre of Thame, celebrating our independent and diverse range of food and drink offerings.
Local residents and visitors are encouraged to take Taste of Thame’s food and drink trail, stopping at various venues along the way to enjoy tastings, demonstrations, workshops, street food stalls, and more.
The centrepiece of the event is the ‘Buttermarket Banquet’ – a dining table which runs the length of the Buttermarket where visitors can enjoy their local produce with friends. The event also raises money for the Thame Food Bank with Taste of Thame’s raffle. In 2025, there are many prizes to be won, including a £1,000 travel voucher thanks to Spear Travels Group.
