Set in the grounds of an 18th-century house overlooking the Vale of the White Horse, the Rare Plant Fair at Kingston Bagpuize House offers the chance to browse specialist plant nurseries in a beautiful historic garden setting.
The formal gardens around the house feature open lawns, long mixed borders planted with roses and herbaceous perennials, spring bulbs, and a terrace garden designed with drought-tolerant planting. Views across the parkland and garden add to the atmosphere of this relaxed and informative plant fair. Admission includes entry to the Plant Fair and Gardens.
Tickets are available on arrival at the gate with no need to prebook. Proceeds from the event support local charities, including SeeSaw (Grief Support for the Young in Oxfordshire) and the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Abingdon Group. Well-behaved assistance dogs only. Refreshments will be available on the lawns in front of the house.
