An unmissable exhibition for fans of Midsomer Murders, the popular ITV series, is open at Thame Museum! Thame is one of the most filmed locations in the fictional Midsomer County and this exhibition will feature many of the 23 Thame venues used as filming locations in the series. Entry is free.

Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the history of Midsomer Murders and how it began in 1997; many of the 23 filming locations that can be found in Thame; the main actors who have appeared in 140 episodes to date; and some of the bizarre ways in which people have been murdered.

You’ll also have an opportunity to take a selfie with a life-size cut-out of the current DCI Barnaby, Neil Dudgeon! When you visit the museum shop at the end of the exhibition, you can choose from a range of Midsomer Murders merchandise, including t-shirts, tea towels, mugs, pens and a book, A Midsomer Day Out, which guides you round all the filming locations in Thame and nearby villages.
