Have you tried wines grown in the Thames Valley?

Brightwell Vineyard is 8 miles from the city of Oxford, 1 mile northwest of Wallingford, abutting the south side of the River Thames.  The flinty chalk clay of the Thames Valley provides ideal grapevine soil, sheltered by the surrounding hills. The Vineyard grows 9 different grape varieties, and our on-site winery now produces red, white, rose and sparkling wines, which have won many International awards. We also grow and produce England’s first internationally acclaimed Brandy. 

The Vineyard is open for sales every weekend throughout the year, and conducts vineyard tours and wine tastings, (booking required), from June to end September.
