Home Educators’ Day: Plants and People

7 7 people viewed this event.

Spring has arrived, and our nature reserve is alive with vibrant new growth! From roots and branches to fronds and flowers, there’s so much to discover. Come and explore the fascinating world of plants and learn why they’re important to YOU! Join other home-educating families for a fun day of outdoor learning, featuring a mix of self-led activities and sessions led by our learning team. Enjoy trails, help in our wildlife garden, and take part in a live storytelling session. It’s a perfect way to connect with nature and learn together!  Most activities will take place outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather to fully enjoy the experience. If you need a break, our quiet reading and sensory tray space will be available in the classroom. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy at the picnic benches, and we’ll have hot drinks and squash available to keep you refreshed throughout the day.   As long as you can still support your older child with the activities, younger siblings are welcome to join in.
