Halloween at Tumblestone Hollow
HAPPY HAUNTING AND GHOSTLY GREETINGS AT TUMBLESTONE HOLLOW THIS HALLOWEEN!
A magical woodland adventure playground on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border is casting a spell throughout its grounds for Halloween this year, with a spooky new trail, bewitching live storytelling and spinetingling crafts.
Tumblestone Hollow, located at Stonor Park in one of the most beautiful parts of the English countryside, is delving into its spell book to create a world full of Halloween surprises with a new experience, The Hollow Tales and Trails, running on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October followed by the October half term holiday from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November.
Beckoning families into the eerie gardens, The Hollow Trail awaits with eight riddles to solve across the themed areas, including Spider Hollow, Witches Clearing, the Skeleton Party, the Ghost Wood and more.
A treat – not a trick – for little witches and wizards who complete the Hollow Trail can be found at the Visitors’ Centre, before gathering round for live storytelling at The Hollow Tales and venturing into the woods to the Witches’ Hovel.
There’s also Tumblestone Hollow’s pumpkin patch to visit, where families can select the perfect pumpkin then head to the decorating station to create a creepy keepsake to take home.
As well as conquering the high-energy spiralling chutes, tunnels, soaring zip line, tall towers and ladders of the impressive Tumblestone Hollow, young explorers can also hunt for sightings of the lost raven throughout the woodland adventure playground. Created for adventurers of all ages, there is also a dedicated toddler section, complete with a sand area for messy play.
The live storytelling at the Hollow Tales is at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day and pumpkins are £5 each, which includes decorations.
For families looking to take a moment to warm up from the crisp autumn air, the Rumble Hut serves authentic wood-fired pizzas and hot drinks including indulgent hot chocolates for adults to sip and relax with as they watch their youngsters run, jump, climb, whizz and slide.
