‘Fragments to Fabric’ Workshop by Claire Frampton
Participants will work with a variety of papers, card and coloured pens. This paper craft activity is similar to the design work of Claire Frampton when she began working with fragment shapes as inspiration for textile designs. Participants are advised to bring a folder to take their work home. Participants are encouraged to post photographs of their work on social media and tag Abingdon Museum.
The artist will meet visitors at the museum reception desk, then walk up to the exhibition space and give a 1/2 hour talk about her exhibition ‘Fragments to Fabric’. Then go down to the Kempster room and run a 1 hour craft workshop.
There will be two sessions: one at 10.30am and the second at 1pm.
