Free family park trail
Follow our nature trail and discover colourful animal, insect and bird cut-outs. The route takes you around Howbery Park’s grounds, including the flood resilient garden, the river, woodland areas and the Manor House lawn.
This is a free activity for the whole family to enjoy the outdoor space and nature of our park. There’s a good chance of spotting some real wildlife on the trail too, with the woodland area being a particular favourite of insects and butterflies.
Maps of the trail can be picked up from the onsite café in the Manor House. The cafe is open working weekdays, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4pm.
Dogs are allowed in the grounds.
Note that children must be accompanied while on the park, as there is river access, and moving vehicles on the way to the café.
