Join us for three days of celebrations to commemorate Victory in Europe (VE) Day, honouring history and those who served.

Thursday 8th May – Education Day
Local schools explore Henley’s wartime past, with talks, sirens, songs, and a traditional fish & chip supper.
Beacon Lighting & Proclamation at Makins Rec, 9:30pm.

Friday 9th May – Dance for VE Day
Step into the 1940s at Henley Town Hall! Live swing band, Lindy Hop lessons, themed cocktails, and a Churchill tribute.
Tickets: £25

Saturday 10th May – Henley at War
Talks, guided walks, reenactors, military vehicles, a Spitfire display, and river trips on a Dunkirk Little Ship.
