Camp Tumblestone
A magical woodland adventure playground, located in one of the most beautiful parts of the English countryside, is launching Camp Tumblestone with a new outdoor games experience to keep kids entertained throughout the six weeks holiday.
Tumblestone Hollow, which offers 10 acres of fun and adventure in the grounds of Stonor Park on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border, is inviting children of all ages to challenge their family and conquer the games with its additional fun activities for the summer, from giant garden games to an exciting agility trail.
At Camp Tumblestone, there will be fun challenges for all the family to get involved in from Saturday 18th July until Tuesday 1st September, including a giant Connect 4, Jenga and ball-run games, as well as an exciting new challenge course where adventurers can test their balance and agility skills.
A teepee camp area has also been created in the Tumblestone Hollow grounds, designed as the perfect place for outdoor explorers to have a rest before creating their own fun through imaginative play.
These extra activities are included in a standard admission ticket, which has been reduced for the summer by 15% as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, providing even better value and giving families even more to enjoy during their day out at Tumblestone Hollow, alongside the heaps of outdoor fun at the woodland adventure playground itself.
Louisa Fifield, general manager at Stonor Park said: “Tumblestone Hollow already provides an action-packed and fun-filled day out for families, with its impressive structure and lots of exciting areas to conquer again and again, but we’ve created these additional activities to provide families with even more outdoor fun to experience during a truly value-for-money adventure.
“We have also welcomed the recent announcement from the government with its Great British Summer Savings initiative, and we are pleased to be able to pass the entirety of this saving on to our visitors by reducing the ticket prices by the full 15% for the summer. We hope this helps families enjoy more adventures and more time together this summer.”
Created with children of all ages in mind, including its very own toddler section featuring a water play area, Tumblestone Hollow has spiralling chutes to slide down, tunnels to crawl through, wooden logs to balance on, tall towers to scale, ladders to climb and bridges to speed across.
For families looking to take a pit-stop and enjoy some food during their day out, the Rumble Hut serves authentic wood-fired pizzas, American-style milkshakes and Italian gelato, making lunch part of the fun rather than a break from it.
Tickets to Camp Tumblestone, which will be available every day from Saturday 18th July until Tuesday 1st September and also include complimentary access to Stonor’s beautiful gardens, are £8.75 for adults, £9.50 for children from five years and £8 for children aged 3-4. Under fours go free.
