The Big Bale Play
Families can dash, leap, weave, and tumble all day long at High Lodge Farm’s Big Bale Play this May half-term!
The farm is transforming its massive grass field into the UK’s biggest straw bale playground, featuring over 250 giant bales to explore. It offers pure outdoor adventure with no screens or flashing lights, just fresh air, freedom and classic childhood fun, where lasting memories are made.
While the main bale maze is perfect for children aged 5 – 14, little ones can enjoy a dedicated under-5s area with smaller bales and a covered sandpit. High Lodge Farm also has plenty more to keep the whole family entertained, including giant garden games, barrel train rides (at an extra cost), hot and cold refreshments, and lots of ice cream!
