Join us for an Adult Memory Basket Weaving Workshop on Saturday, 15 March. Do you have fabric scraps, old dresses, worn-out jeans, or baby clothes you can’t bear to throw away? Come learn how to weave them into a beautiful basket! We’ll create a willow frame using materials grown on the nature reserve, then use your fabric scraps (with extra materials provided) to weave the basket’s base. This is a wonderful opportunity to breathe new life into old items while learning an ancient craft. The session will take place in our bright education centre, with hot drinks, biscuits, and cake provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Booking is essential.
