Welcome to Thomley — a place for people of all abilities and disabilities, where families, carers, friends and the wider community come together to learn, play and support one another.
A Rich History and Inclusive Vision
Born out of the desire of parents seeking a safe, understanding place for their children with autism and complex needs, Thomley has grown since its conception in 1997. It officially opened in 2002, acquired its own land in 2011, and now spans approximately 8–9 acres of fully enclosed countryside, with a range of richly varied indoor and outdoor facilities.
The Mission
To enhance lives through lifelong learning, stimulating activities and compassionate support in a non-judgmental environment.
More Than Play: Community, Confidence & Connection
Thomley isn’t just a play centre – it’s a sanctuary from isolation. Families of disabled individuals often describe it as a second home, a place where staff understandingly ease the burden, and where everyone can relax and simply be together.
